Two years ago, Gulf Coast Rigging inspected my rig on my 42Ft Hunter Passage and found a crack in one of the fittings. I had them rerig all the shrouds and stays. The boat just went through hurricane Ian 140 to 150 mile and hour winds while on my dock in Punta Gorda. Several of the boats around me have broken mast because their rigging failed.
